FRIDAY NIGHT Lecture - "Animal
Astrology"
Animal psychologist and
astrologer Kay Cox will give a lecture on Friday, November 15, 2002
on Animal Astrology. She will give an overview of animals and their
signs. Kay will go over each sign, explaining the astrological
personalities of pets, including their aptitudes and attitudes. The
lecture will be held at the Scottsdale Senior Center at 7374 E. 2nd
Street in Scottsdale. The doors open at 7:00 PM. Admission is $4.00
for members and $10.00 for guests.
SATURDAY Workshop - "Pets Are People, Too!"
On Saturday, November 16, 2002, Kay
will give a workshop called Pets Are People, Too! Using charts of
pets, Kay will explain how and why animal charts are read
differently than human charts. In the workshop you will discover
whether your pet is more likely to be visual, auditory, or kinetic,
Kay will talk about ways of showing affection, eating habits for
each sign, sleeping habits and games your pet will be likely to
play. She will discuss the human compatibility factor and how to
work individually with pet charts.Please bring the astrological
chart of your pet!
The workshop will be held at the Scottsdale Senior Center at 7374
E. 2nd Street in Scottsdale. The doors open at noon. Admission is
$10.00 for members and $15.00 for guests.
Getting
to Know Kay Cox
Kay Cox has been involved in counseling services for people with
pets since 1978. She specializes in behavior modification,
astrological profiling and inter-species communication. Kay first
joined the ASA in the mid 70’s and has been a member intermittently
since then. She has been a columnist for the Arizona Republic
Newspaper, Director of the Arizona Society of the Prevention of
Cruelty to Animals, and she has hosted the Pet Corner on KTAR 620
AM.
Kay now continues her work as The Pet Counselor, working with
towns and cities with her "Pet Education Training Seminar Diversion
Program." She has given seminars to the 9th Circuit Courts on "Dog
Bite Defense," has been called upon as an expert witness in animal
cases, and has used her astrology and animal behavior know-how to
select juries for attorneys. Astrology weaves through all facets of
