What’s Coming in Our January Presentation
This presentation is not to be missed! Our January 24 talk will be our yearly "Predictions for 2026" featuring predictions from astrologers and other forecasters all over the world.
We’ve had some very eclectic contributions from astrologers around the world in past years, so please consider attending what promises to be a rousing event, hopefully with more than a few laughs and profound insights about what’s coming!

A Look at Some of Our Recent Presentations
Our June 28 talk featured Professor Robert giving us a guided tour of his new book The Cycles of Life – 7 Year Cycles and Stages of Change. When we’re born, 7 year cycles kick into play on material, emotional, psychological, and spiritual levels of life. This technique helps you understand which planet creates the specific quality of every year of a 7 year cycle. After editing this will be available for purchase.
Our July 26 talk featured Doc Benton speaking on the “Summer of Change” and the Saturn/Neptune conjunction and the Uranus/Neptune/Pluto double-sextile trine in play off and on this year and next.
Our August 16 event was our yearly free Summer program, where Robert lead the group through an analysis of 5 extraordinary horary charts on “How to View and Navigate the Current Darkness,” “What is the Source of and Solution to Evil in the World?”, “What Does Christ Returning to Earth Mean?”, and “What Is the Future Destiny of Astrology?” We had quite a wide ranging discussion and a good time was had by all!
Our September 27 talk featured Chris Mitchell speaking on “A Medieval A-Z: From Astrolabes to Zijes.” He took us through the history of how chart computations were lost until the 12th century, the impossibly complex mathematics the ancients used to compute charts and the importance of the Astrolabe in advancing our knowledge of placements.
Our October 25 talk featured Eric Meyers speaking on “The Astrological Biorhythm: The Progressed Moon by Declination.” It was a fascinating look at how the declination of the Progressed Moon takes us through times of ascent and descent over a 28 year period, with “seasons” where we hit peaks and valleys every 14 years as the Progressed Moon moves through the Solstice signs. (If there’s enough interest I’ll professionally edit it and make it available for purchase.)
Our November 29 talk featured yours truly, Professor Robert, talking about “the Spiritual dimension of Astrology – Navigating the Changes in the Collective Field.” We discussed the "seasons" of the “century cycle,” the emergence of “Divine Mother energy,” and some astrological markers when global transformations can be expected. We’ll explored the major changes and passages we’re all going through now and in 2026-2027, and how to use the intensity of the collective field to fulfill our purpose.
Our December 20 gathering was our yearly free Solstice Presentation. Robert took us through a thorough analysis of the Solstice chart and the themes for the next 90 days, as well as “time triggers” for when we can expect shift and changes. Doc Benton added his take, and gave us a preview of the March Equinox chart as well.

This is the era of Zoom. We do all our presentations online at this time. If you would like to attend, please make sure you’ve downloaded the latest Zoom update so you don’t have to deal with it when you’re trying to get into the talks. If you go to the site, just download the latest software. They release new versions often, so please upgrade in advance. Details are provided in our two AAZ alerts in the two weeks prior to the presentation.
To anticipate a question, you don’t have to have a camera or microphone to attend a ZOOM webinar. All you need is internet access and speakers. AN ASTROLOGICAL OVERVIEW
AN ASTROLOGICAL OVERVIEW OF January 2026

The month begins with the Sun, Venus, and Mars all converging on their conjunctions with each other as they all begin making oppositions to Jupiter! This will bring many things to surface, with a potential to exaggerate or get misdirected as well as opportunities to expand the means of supply and security in our lives.
As we have a Sun conjunct Mars in play for most of January, rein it in a little, and remember discretion is the better part of valor. Choose your battles carefully, and see how to move in the direction of “productive expansion,” since the oppositions to Jupiter are all immediately followed by trines to Uranus during the third week of January, favoring rebeginnings, renewal, and regeneration.
Still, because Saturn in Pisces is sextile Uranus in Taurus all of January, use the productive relationship between the Cosmic Awakener and our “Spiritual Teacher and Spiritual Friend” to continue to navigate the flow which is taking you to a new land this Spring. Keep reading the flow, and if something must end, let it go, blessing the passage.
January begins under the beams of the December New Moon at 29 Sagittarius, showing a month of “getting in shape” and staying clear about our role in the larger scheme of things and making adjustments to cooperate with the regenerative and renewing Uranian theme of its direct station at 28 Taurus. This comes to surface at the January Full Moon at 14 Capricorn/Cancer, giving us the Light of timeless Ageless Wisdom. So the first half of the month has a Sagittarius/Cancer emphasis, while the second half of the month fixes the energy of our multi-planet compression in Capricorn into a new form of productive organized group expression.
Jupiter in Cancer is the Teacher in the sign of immediate and intimate feelings and experiences, encouraging us to fulfill basic necessities and explore closer connections with others in “our tribe.” This month it retrogrades from the last decan of Cancer back into the second decan, showing a review of what we’ve consolidated or integrated in our path of expansion since June. This part of Cancer is about realizing some long held ambition, enjoying the company of Spiritual Brothers and Sisters, blending the old and the new, and assuring supply in unique ways.
Saturn is in its final trek through the last 4 degrees of Pisces. As it occupies the spiritual level of the Scorpio decan of Pisces, Mars is very prominent. Its recent direct station at 26 Pisces is a degree of showing some “the poetry of their life” while making it clear we all have to do our own thing in our own way, and shouldn’t expect anyone else to conform to how we do it.
The Spiritual Field
We continue to be blessed by the closest Neptune sextile with Pluto in 30 years. We’re now between two eras: the past/present of Uranus in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces, and the present/future of Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius. Each of these harmonic relationships creates a powerful linkage in the Spiritual field of productive stability according to the signs involved.
We began an entirely new experience of Spirit and Life when these Spiritual powerhouses shifted out of Earth and Water into Fire and Air this past Summer. This is Life and Spirit expressed as a new inspiration, with Saturn in Aries providing “real world structure” crystallizing the preliminary Fire and Air harmonic consciousness. Regard Summer as a “dress rehearsal” which showed us what’s coming in early 2026.
Uranus occupied the first two degrees of Gemini between July and October heralding new discoveries and the arrival of “Santa Claus” in 2026, giving us new ideas and new ways of understanding things. Now Uranus has returned to Taurus for the last time, boosting our 2025 spiritual awakening and beginning a long term regeneration and renewal wherever we have late Taurus. This is the next step of the 14 year cycle which began in April 2024 with the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction promising us all a new life.
Neptune moves back into Aries this month, promising the renewal of the new initiatives in collective consciousness which began last Summer. The dreamy collective atmosphere of Pisces is about to give way to the “just do it!” direct action initiatives of Aries. There will be less tolerance for stalling and gaslighting once Neptune’s in Aries where it’ll stay for many years to come.
Neptune in Aries is spreading a new type of energy which will “be in fashion” in the collective consciousness for decades to come. It went stationary retrograde on the “avatar” degree at 3 Aries. That degree promises us new “avatars,” new world leaders, and new icons of an Aries nature through this century and beyond, especially once Saturn re-enters Aries in mid-February and conjuncts Neptune at 1 Aries at the end of February.
Because Saturn went SRX at 2 Aries in mid-July we’ve been learning objectivity through humor, and humor through objectivity. With Saturn still at the end of Pisces, we’re getting a final understanding of what we need to fulfill our dream when we cut loose into the new spiritual field of Fire and Air beginning in March.
Pluto in Aquarius puts us on the cusp of historic change. Since April, we’ve been reviewing what will heal us, or how to regenerate to “make things whole.” Keep opening to your latent “healing powers,” or ability to restore a natural harmony to circumstances. If necessary, mobilize to action when the storm blows in! Now that it’s in direct motion, be “galvanized to action” through sudden developments which “liberate you from adverse conditions.”
We also have several long wave Aries cycles in play. Jupiter launched a major healing and mentoring cycle when it conjuncted Chiron at 15 Aries on March 11, 2023. That began a long Chiron cycle which will last until the Summer of 2036.
Not all Chiron cycles are the same length. When Chiron transits between Aquarius and Gemini, it moves relatively slowly and has conjunctions with Jupiter about every 13 years. However, it can take 19-20 years for the next conjunction after Gemini or Cancer. That means once the conjunction at 16 Gemini happens in the Summer of 2036 we won’t have another conjunction of Jupiter and Chiron until the Spring of 2056 in Aquarius, which will launch another long term “expansive healing/mentoring” cycle.
Mars
Mars continues to pick up speed since it went direct at 18 Cancer in late February. This month begins with Mars in mid-Capricorn, approaching its opposition to Jupiter, quintile and then sextile Saturn, and tredecile and trine Uranus. This should be a VERY productive month, so get as much done as you can! This helps boost harmony in our late Earth and Water planets, stabilizing the structure so we can embrace the new Aquarius pulse in late January.
This month Mars activates the house(s) where we have 13 Capricorn through 7 Aquarius. January 1-10 finds Mars between 14-20 Capricorn, creating an agitating effect on planets we have between the 14th and 20th degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. January 10-23 finds Mars between the 20th and 30th degree of Capricorn, creating the same effect on planets in those degrees of the Cardinal signs, And January 23-31 finds Mars between 1-7 Aquarius, creating an agitating effect on planets we have between 1-7 Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio.
As I’ve offered before, when Mars is within a degree of forming or separating from a hard aspect with a planet, slow down and show deliberation and caution in how you use force. Hard aspects to/from Mars always require that we moderate or antidote impulsiveness and impatience.
We’re Actors On A New Stage With A New Set – The Bigger Picture
We’re still in the initial years of a new era in human evolution. The Grand Mutation of Jupiter conjunct Saturn at 1 Aquarius began a new 20 year Aquarian Era in December 2020, as well as a new 200 year era, moving global energies out of Earth and into Air. We’ve begun to grow beyond the materialism of the past 200 years and have entered two centuries of Air emphasis, with its qualities of relatedness, receptivity, versatility, movability, lightness, and cooperative ideas, visions, and ideals.
We’re still "under the beams" of the Solar Eclipses of 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, and these “cosmic recyclers” continue to remove what we no longer need in our lives. Take note of where you have 1 Cancer, 24 and 13 Sagittarius, 20 Gemini, 10, 20 and 30 Aries, 11 Taurus, 30 Virgo, 11 and 22 Libra, and 2 Scorpio, since we’ve all had to let go of many things related to these sectors the past few years. We also are still under the beams of the early September Lunar eclipse at 16 Virgo/Pisces and the powerful Solar eclipse of 30 Virgo, showing we’re leaving behind a lot as we all “escape from a narrow destiny” over coming months and years.
As we study how successive Eclipses have affected various areas of our charts and lives, we can get a sense of the utility of these “Cosmic Recyclers” in removing what we no longer needed in those areas, creating a void which attracted new life experiences. They invite us to look back, and then forward, to see the continuity of “letting go, taking in, letting go, taking in” across the years.
Primary Action Beats for the First Half of the Month
As mentioned, January begins under the beams of the late December New Moon at 29 Sagittarius, showing we’re getting in shape for something through dependable effort, with a need for clarity of what roles we are and aren’t playing, and adjusting and/or sacrificing whatever is no longer appropriate for our future growth. Take a hard look to see if your likes or relationships are helping or hindering how you fulfill your destiny. It’s all designed so we can see past superficialities, get to the essence of things, and be willing to serve something larger than us.
The first week of the month is dominated by Mercury square Neptune just before entering Capricorn, Chiron going direct, and the Full Moon conjunct Jupiter and opposing Venus, Sun, and Mars while tredecile Saturn and biseptile Neptune. This will bring rewards at the end of a long cycle as well as an ageless Wisdom identified with Source.
The second week brings Sun conjunct Mars, Venus, Sun, and Mars opposed Jupiter and square Chiron triggering an integrative void in late Libra. Regard whatever happens as finishing up some karma. Follow through on “delivering what has to be delivered,” as the second week finishes with Mercury opposed Jupiter and Venus sextile Saturn and trine Uranus, anticipating the Sun and Mars making the same sextile and trine in the third week of January.
Beware of cross currents or things being not as they seem on January 9, and be moderate, reasonable, and a good peace maker on January 10 as the Moon in Libra fills in a Grand Cardinal Cross with the inner planets, Jupiter, and Chiron. Grand Crosses are fracturing, and with the Moon making a Yod with Saturn and Uranus, consider it an experience to squeeze out imbalances, or opportunities to repair or reconstruct something.
Primary Action Beats for the Second Half of the Month
The third week begins with Venus trine Uranus, favoring the expression of our uniqueness in a pleasing way. That week is going to be very harmonious with the Sun sextile both Saturn and Neptune and trine Uranus, reinforcing what Venus heralded on the 14th and 15th. However, SLOW DOWN as Mercury is conjunct Mars, generating a lot of agitation in the air!
That week also shows Venus, the Sun, and Mercury all entering Aquarius, and a New Moon at 29 Capricorn on the 18th. That will bring powers of interpretation and techniques of spiritual group performance. Much will be mobilized the second half of January with so many favorable sextiles and trines followed by conjunctions with Pluto.
The fourth week begins with the Superior conjunction of Mercury with the Sun on the 21st at 2 Aquarius, promising several weeks of “cosmic visitations” which “galvanize us to action.” This will move a lot of Plutonic seeds up and into the daylight, and may bring challenges as well as breakthroughs. That week also brings Mercury and the Sun conjunct Pluto, and Mars sextile Neptune just before it also enters Aquarius.
January 26 brings Neptune’s re-entry into Aries, the 27th shows Mars conjunct Pluto, and extending into the last several days, Mercury conjuncts Venus on the 29th. Mercury is quincunx Jupiter on the 30th, and Venus is quincunx Jupiter on the 31st in the run-up to the Full Moon of February 1 at 14 Aquarius/Leo. That Lunation promises an acceleration of our evolution through expressing our heart.
Evolutionary Development
As we’re still in the North Node in Pisces era, we’re growing through empathy, compassion, and forgiveness, demonstrated through our sense of service. We will grow in our “nonlocal awareness” and tune into what Neptune and Saturn have taught us about Pisces while “showing what we know” wherever we have late Virgo.
The Sun in Capricorn is a time to see the Light of claiming our power, authority, or expertise in a group setup. In Scorpio we learned focus and left behind things which were obsolete or extraneous, and in Sagittarius we had an intense wild ride and broke free of old “cocoons.” Now we move into a new personal power and perhaps new responsibilities.
Because we’re ending the sixth year of a new 20 year and 200 year cycle, remember a new era has dawned. Have courage and take the initiative to leave the Earth and fly free as the Grand Mutation expands its promise into the Divine transfigured ideal of a more just truth and future. While the old dies, the new has arrived!
Even though the ideal is far away, we are the midwives and mid-husbands to a new way of relating to Life, Energy, Consciousness, each other, and the Earth Herself. Because our essential nature is Loving Wisdom, remember to lighten up, play a little, and be willing to explore new arenas of effective activity where you can work and play with other Light Spirits. This is the time to take heart as we navigate the dawning of the Pluto in Aquarius era.
We have now collectively transfigured into a greater vision of the one Light/Life we all are together. Continue to find your heart strength and new forms of genuine happiness appropriate for who you are now, and who you are becoming relative to just a few months ago.
We now navigate the cosmic time-space between endings and beginnings so bless and forgive much to flow down the time stream. The past is over and we all have begun our trek into a new world of new potential, new adventures, and new ways to enjoy being ourselves while doing our work of Destiny. Open to the abundance of the process of growth, since we are all on a rocket ship to the stars!
