A Look at Some of Our Recent Presentations
Our June 28 talk featured Professor Robert giving us a guided tour of his new book The Cycles of Life – 7 Year Cycles and Stages of Change. When we’re born, 7 year cycles kick into play on material, emotional, psychological, and spiritual levels of life. This technique helps you understand which planet creates the specific quality of every year of a 7 year cycle. After editing this will be available for purchase.
Our July 26 talk featured Doc Benton speaking on the “Summer of Change” and the Saturn/Neptune conjunction and the Uranus/Neptune/Pluto double-sextile trine in play off and on this year and next.
Our August 16 event was our yearly free Summer program, where Robert lead the group through an analysis of 5 extraordinary horary charts on “How to View and Navigate the Current Darkness,” “What is the Source of and Solution to Evil in the World?”, “What Does Christ Returning to Earth Mean?”, and “What Is the Future Destiny of Astrology?” We had quite a wide ranging discussion and a good time was had by all!
Our September 27 talk featured Chris Mitchell speaking on “A Medieval A-Z: From Astrolabes to Zijes.” He took us through the history of how chart computations were lost until the 12th century, the impossibly complex mathematics the ancients used to compute charts and the importance of the Astrolabe in advancing our knowledge of placements.
Our October 25 talk featured Eric Meyers speaking on “The Astrological Biorhythm: The Progressed Moon by Declination.” It was a fascinating look at how the declination of the Progressed Moon takes us through times of ascent and descent over a 28 year period, with “seasons” where we hit peaks and valleys every 14 years as the Progressed Moon moves through the Solstice signs. (If there’s enough interest I’ll professionally edit it and make it available for purchase.)
Our November 29 talk featured yours truly, Professor Robert, talking about “the Spiritual dimension of Astrology – Navigating the Changes in the Collective Field.” We discussed the "seasons" of the “century cycle,” the emergence of “Divine Mother energy,” and some astrological markers when global transformations can be expected. We’ll explored the major changes and passages we’re all going through now and in 2026-2027, and how to use the intensity of the collective field to fulfill our purpose.

To anticipate a question, you don’t have to have a camera or microphone to attend a ZOOM webinar. All you need is internet access and speakers. AN ASTROLOGICAL OVERVIEW OF December 2025

(This column is an abbreviated version of what we send to members at the beginning of each month. If you want the complete overview, please join our organization.)
The month begins with Mercury direct making the final Grand Water Trines with Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune, anchored by Uranus in late Taurus forming a “Peace Sign” evolutionary configuration which will help much fall into place in January. So December is ultimately “the end of the end” of whatever the deep flow of the Grand Water Trine represents in this “season of saying goodbye.”
Read the flow, go with the flow, and let the river carry you to your destination. In many ways this period is an echo of early 2025, with Uranus in late Taurus and Neptune in late Pisces, assisting any planets we have in the last degrees of the Earth and Water signs to align with the spiritual field.
December begins under the beams of the November New Moon at 29 Scorpio, showing a month of “compassionate interventions” and deep connections with self, others, and source. This will come to surface at the December Full Moon at 14 Sagittarius/Gemini, giving us the Light of ancient Wisdom taking shape as a form of telepathic communication with others at a distance. So the first half of the month has a definite Scorpio emphasis, while the second half of the month is a leap into Sagittarius expressed through Gemini!
Then there’s the Mercury retrograde factor. We got the first pass of Mercury through its shadow zone the last 10 days of October and the first week of November. Then we got the review of the same span from then through the end of November. Now Mercury moves forward in the last transit of its shadow zone, showing it’s time to refuse old ways and chart a new course. There may be conflicts between old and new perspectives, so feel the flow and you’ll know which way to go.
As with October and November, Jupiter is in trine to Saturn all month, and continues a period of opportunities in the sign of personal feelings and the need to feel safe interacting with others in harmonious relationship with Saturn in Pisces, giving us a last look back to say goodbye to old ways of life. This is the ruler of our Sag and Pisces sectors harmonizing with the ruler of our Capricorn and Aquarius sectors, showing a favorable flow out of the old and into the promise of the new which will be actualized in 2026. We’re saying goodbye to a lot this Autumn and by Winter we’ll be on our way.
Abundance is promised for all of us in 2026, and with both Saturn and Neptune back in Aries for a long time beginning in February, it’ll be a new collective atmosphere!
As with October, Jupiter is in trine to Saturn all month, and continues a period of opportunities in the sign of personal feelings and the need to feel safe interacting with others in harmonious relationship with Saturn in Pisces, giving us a last look back to say goodbye to old ways of life. We’re saying goodbye to a lot this Autumn and by Winter we’ll be on our way. Abundance is promised for all of us in 2026.
Jupiter in Cancer is the Teacher in the sign of immediate and intimate feelings and experiences, encouraging us to fulfill basic necessities and explore closer connections with others in “our tribe.” As it’s now in the last decan of Cancer, we are consolidating and integrating whatever we’ve been expanding into since June.
Saturn is now direct, resuming its final trek through the last 5 degrees of Pisces. As it occupies the spiritual level of the Scorpio decan of Pisces, Mars is very prominent. 26 Pisces is a degree of showing some “the poetry of their life” while making it clear we all have to do our own thing in our own way, and shouldn’t expect anyone else to conform to how we do it.
This begins our final transit over the degrees of using imagination to dominate circumstances and finding an abundance tailored to who we are. The circumstances will be set and the abundance established by February, so be willing to receive and give blessings when appropriate, since by going with the flow we’re all finding exactly what we need as we finish our emotional attachment to our past which is rapidly fading.
As Saturn moves forward at the end of Pisces these next 3+ months, it will transit the degrees where Mercury and Venus both went stationary direct in April. Saturn crystallizes whatever it touches, so the promise indicated by those two inner planet retrogrades will be “made real” between now and February.
The action is in the houses where we have Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Capricorn, making Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn the major players. As both Mars and Saturn are ruled by Jupiter, it is the most powerful of those three.
Jupiter in Cancer emphasizes intimate and creative interactions, and with Mercury making Grand Water Trines with Jupiter and Saturn, all we have to do is a) follow the flow, b) let go and/or accept as needed, c) search for connectedness within and with others, and d) continue to eliminate everything which either blocks us or triggers a too-intense response. If you’re aligned emotionally with the flow, this month will help you get in touch with deep feelings and a sense of connection within yourself and with All-That-Is.
The Spiritual Field
We continue to be blessed by the closest Neptune sextile with Pluto in 30 years. We’re now between two eras: the past/present of Uranus in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces, and the present/future of Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius. Each of these harmonic relationships creates a powerful linkage in the Spiritual field of productive stability according to the signs involved.
We began an entirely new experience of Spirit and Life when these Spiritual powerhouses shifted out of Earth and Water into Fire and Air this past Summer. This is Life and Spirit expressed as a new inspiration, with Saturn in Aries providing “real world structure” crystallizing the preliminary Fire and Air harmonic consciousness. Regard Summer as a “dress rehearsal” which showed us what’s coming in early 2026.
Uranus occupied the first two degrees of Gemini between July and October heralding new discoveries and the arrival of “Santa Claus” in 2026, giving us new ideas and new ways of understanding things. Now Uranus has returned to Taurus for the last time, boosting our 2025 spiritual awakening and beginning a long term regeneration and renewal wherever we have late Taurus. This is the next step of the 14 year cycle which began in April 2024 with the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction promising us all a new life.
Neptune in Aries is spreading a new type of energy which will “be in fashion” in the collective consciousness for decades to come. It went stationary retrograde on the “avatar” degree at 3 Aries. That degree promises us new “avatars,” new world leaders, and new icons of an Aries nature through this century and beyond.
And because Saturn went SRX at 2 Aries in mid-July we’ve been learning objectivity through humor, and humor through objectivity. Now they’re both back in Pisces, helping us get a final understanding of what we need to fulfill our dream when we cut loose into the new spiritual field of Fire and Air beginning next March.
Between late October and late January Neptune will occupy 30 Pisces, the end of the end where we dream the future. We’ve been shaping the dream since May 2024, and this final review of the dream will then begin to be made manifest in February when Saturn leaves Pisces.
Pluto in Aquarius puts us on the cusp of historic change. Since its last RX station at 4 Aquarius, we’ve been reviewing what will heal us, or how to regenerate to “make things whole.” Keep opening to your latent “healing powers,” or ability to restore a natural harmony to circumstances. If necessary, mobilize to action when the storm blows in! Now that it’s in direct motion, be “galvanized to action” through sudden developments which “liberate you from adverse conditions.”
We also have several long wave Aries cycles in play. Jupiter launched a major healing and mentoring cycle when it conjuncted Chiron at 15 Aries on March 11, 2023. That began a long Chiron cycle which will last until the Summer of 2036.
Not all Chiron cycles are the same length. When Chiron transits between Aquarius and Gemini, it moves relatively slowly and has conjunctions with Jupiter about every 13 years. However, it can take 19-20 years for the next conjunction after Gemini or Cancer. That means once the conjunction at 16 Gemini happens in the Summer of 2036 we won’t have another conjunction of Jupiter and Chiron until the Spring of 2056 in Aquarius, which will launch another long term “expansive healing/mentoring” cycle.
Mars
Mars continues to pick up speed since it went direct at 18 Cancer in late February. This month begins with Mars in late Sagittarius, approaching its square to Saturn, cautioning us to get rest and not get involved in disputes which divert or distract us. It’s the culmination of an old way of “doing Saturn,” and by mid-month when it enters Capricorn, its sign of “exaltation,” it’ll begin being far more pragmatic and less fiery. This is the month to follow through on the November Sag initiatives which show the way to a new life, new work, new relationships, and new service beginning in late January.
This month Mars activates the house(s) where we have 20 Sagittarius through 13 Capricorn. December 1-15 finds Mars between 21 and 30 Sagittarius, creating an agitating effect on planets we have between 21 and 30 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius. December 15-27 finds Mars between 1-10 Capricorn, creating an agitating effect on planets we have between 1-10 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. December 27-30 finds Mars between 11 and 13 Capricorn, creating the same effect on planets in those degrees of the Cardinal signs.
As I’ve offered before, when Mars is within a degree of forming or separating from a hard aspect with a planet, slow down and show deliberation and caution in how you use force. Hard aspects to/from Mars always require that we moderate or antidote impulsiveness and impatience.
We’re Actors On A New Stage With A New Set – The Bigger Picture
We’re still in the initial years of a new era in human evolution. The Grand Mutation of Jupiter conjunct Saturn at 1 Aquarius began a new 20 year Aquarian Era in December 2020, as well as a new 200 year era, moving global energies out of Earth and into Air. We’ve begun to grow beyond the materialism of the past 200 years and have entered two centuries of Air emphasis, with its qualities of relatedness, receptivity, versatility, movability, lightness, and cooperative ideas, visions, and ideals.
We’re still "under the beams" of the Solar Eclipses of 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, and these “cosmic recyclers” continue to remove what we no longer need in our lives. Take note of where you have 1 Cancer, 24 and 13 Sagittarius, 20 Gemini, 10, 20 and 30 Aries, 11 Taurus, 30 Virgo, 11 and 22 Libra, and 2 Scorpio, since we’ve all had to let go of many things related to these sectors the past few years. We also are still under the beams of the early September Lunar eclipse at 16 Virgo/Pisces and the powerful Solar eclipse of 30 Virgo, showing we’re leaving behind a lot as we all “escape from a narrow destiny” over coming months and years.
As we study how successive Eclipses have affected various areas of our charts and lives, we can get a sense of the utility of these “Cosmic Recyclers” in removing what we no longer needed in those areas, creating a void which attracted new life experiences. They invite us to look back, and then forward, to see the continuity of “letting go, taking in, letting go, taking in” across the years.
Primary Action Beats for the First Half of the Month
As mentioned, December begins under the beams of the late November New Moon at 29 Scorpio, showing “compassionate Soul interventions,” regenerations, and the need to follow our heart’s desire by claiming our genius in new ways.
The first week of the month is dominated by Mercury moving through the Grand Water Trine yet again, giving us a last look at how to navigate deep feelings, goodbyes, and letting a lot flow down the timestream which we no longer need to hold on to. We also have Mars quincunx Jupiter on December 7 while it forms a square to Saturn which culminates on the 8th.
This cautions us to slow down, and not pursue something beyond safe limits. It’s a time to see to the core of things beneath surface appearances, and be receptive to “being led out into the world of transcendent activity,” doing some sort of “ritual” which requires us to be aware of the divine presence in everything we do.
The Full Moon on December 4 puts the focus on communication, with the light of Ageless Wisdom expressed through telepathic connections and “non-local” ways of transmitting ideas from mind to mind.
As the Full Moon is cut into a quintile and tredecile by Neptune, it activates three points of “A 10-pointed Star of Specialized Serendipity” promising interactive unique gifts and blessings, circumstances which are perfect for our gifts and gifts which are perfect for our circumstances. This activates 10 zones of high specialization and unique blessings if you have a planet or point near, 1-4 Aries/Libra, 6-10 Taurus/Scorpio, 12-16 Gemini/Sagittarius, 18-22 Cancer/Capricorn, and 24-28 Leo/Aquarius, and 29-30 Pisces/Virgo.
The second week begins with Mars square Saturn. Neptune goes stationary direct and Mercury opposes Uranus on the 10th and trines Neptune on the 11th. Then Mercury enters Sagittarius, followed on December 13-14 by Mars quincunx Uranus, Mercury sextile Pluto, Mars square Neptune, Sun trine Chiron and quincunx Jupiter, and Mars entering Capricorn.
Neptune’s station marks a “sea change” in the collective, and begins the end of our Pisces atmosphere. Mercury making an opposition and trine brings spiritual awareness and genius to the forefront or original thinking tapped into the collective. This is another configuration which will help us “escape from a narrow destiny.”
Primary Action Beats for the Second Half of the Month
The third week begins with the Sun square Saturn, illuminating the culmination of the old year cycle and giving understanding of the previous Mars square Saturn. That week shows Sun quincunx Uranus just before the New Moon at 29 Sagittarius, and Jupiter square Chiron on the 21st followed by the Winter Solstice.
That New Moon degree indicates we’ll all be “getting in shape” for the rest of December into mid-January, and requires that we get clear about what roles we are or aren’t playing, and take a hard look to see if our likes or relationships are helping or hindering how we fulfill our destiny. It’s all designed so we can see past superficialities, get to the essence of things, and be willing to serve something larger than us.
The week ends with the Sun entering Capricorn, marking a culmination of the yearly cycle which begins in Aries and moving us into a time of spiritual harvests as well as potential “crop failures” if we didn’t embrace the promise of the Summer of 2025.
The fourth week begins with Venus quincunx Uranus and square Neptune before it enters Capricorn on December 24. After that, the main activity is between December 27 and January 1, with Mercury quincunx Jupiter and trine Chiron on the 27th, and Mercury square Saturn, quincunx Uranus, and square Neptune from December 29 through January 1. There’s a need for clarity, humor, imagination, seeing things from multiple angles, and understanding why we’ve had to give up so much since September.
Evolutionary Development
As we’re still in the North Node in Pisces era, we’re growing through empathy, compassion, and forgiveness, demonstrated through our sense of service. We will grow in our “nonlocal awareness” and tune into what Neptune and Saturn have taught us about Pisces while “showing what we know” wherever we have late Virgo.
The Sun in Sagittarius is a time to see the Light of flying free into the world of larger ideas, larger views, larger truths, and a more satisfying future. In Scorpio we learned focus, leaving behind the obsolete and extraneous, creating voids which will attract new life substance. Mercury making the last Grand Water Trine at the beginning of the month will stabilize our understanding of the flow and help us prepare for the Sagittarian wild ride making squares to Saturn and Neptune while quincunxing Uranus.
Because we’re ending the fifth year of a new 20 year and 200 year cycle, remember a new era has dawned. Have courage and take the initiative to leave the Earth and fly free as the Grand Mutation expands its promise into the Divine transfigured ideal of a more just truth and future. While the old dies, the new has arrived!
Even though the ideal is far away, we are the midwives and mid-husbands to a new way of relating to Life, Energy, Consciousness, each other, and the Earth Herself. Because our essential nature is Loving Wisdom, remember to lighten up, play a little, and be willing to explore new arenas of effective activity where you can work and play with other Light Spirits. This is the time to take heart as we navigate the dawning of the Pluto in Aquarius era.
We have now collectively transfigured into a greater vision of the one Light/Life we all are together. Continue to find your heart strength and new forms of genuine happiness appropriate for who you are now, and who you are becoming relative to just a few months ago.
We now navigate the cosmic time-space between endings and beginnings so bless and forgive much to flow down the time stream. The past is over and we all have begun our trek into a new world of new potential, new adventures, and new ways to enjoy being ourselves while doing our work of Destiny. Open to the abundance of the process of growth, since we are all on a rocket ship to the stars!
